Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) show that they are a valuable asset of our organization at ADAPT Community Network. The role of Direct Support Professionals is to assist the people we support in their day to day lives. They not only assist people supported with daily tasks, but their presence and warmth inspire the people we support to follow their ambitions, be their true selves, and be active members of the ADAPT community and the community beyond. Each September, we celebrate DSPs throughout the month with recognition parties, giveaways, and raffles for $25 amazon gift cards. In addition, outstanding DSPs from each program are nominated by their supervisors to attend our DSP luncheon honoring them and their incredible work and commitment and awarding them an additional day off.
