ADAPT has a long-standing history of celebrating the diversity of its staff and the people we support. Diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility and belonging is a cornerstone of our organizational vision.

We look forward to continuing recognizing diversity and building an inclusive workforce. All existing and new ADAPT staff will have the opportunity to learn about DEIAB and how they can be a part of continuing the culture of DEIAB through trainings, resources and related activities.

A Message from our Chief Compliance Officer

ADAPT Community Network embraces Compliance and the laws and regulations which govern our Compliance program.  ADAPT strives to be the honest and fair organization that follows our agency policies as well as government regulations and laws. When it comes to Compliance, everyone at ADAPT plays an important part in contributing to the agency’s culture, making this a place that we can all be proud of.

ADAPT plays a critical role in the lives of the people we support and their families.  We provide people with disabilities all over New York City with a fun, safe, and educational environment where they can grow and fulfill their dreams.  ADAPT’s Compliance Department works to support our service recipients, staff, families and other partners by being a resource and a good source of information. 

I encourage you to reach out with any Compliance related problems, questions or suggestions.  Contact information for me, Compliance staff, and our Compliance Hotline is listed below to provide an easy means of reaching out to us.  With everyone’s help and support, we can continue to make ADAPT Community Network the provider of choice, the employer of choice, and the partner of choice!

HIPAA

Protecting confidential health information is essential to an agency like ours and the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is the Federal law that secures protected health information (PHI).

We have developed policies and procedures that ensure our compliance with HIPAA regulations. These policies can be found on the agency’s Intranet site.
