ADAPT Community Network is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation, With Distinction by CQL – the highest level of excellence. 

This distinction reflects ADAPT’s ongoing commitment to supporting children, adults, and families with disabilities through innovative, person-centered programs and services across New York City. It highlights not only our dedication to maintaining the highest standards, but also our focus on helping our people supported live to their fullest potential.  

Every four years, The Center on Quality and Leadership (CQL) gathers at our Maiden Lane office for a comprehensive onsite review. They conduct focus groups, location visits, individual interviews, and policy evaluations, all led by CQL Quality Enhancement Specialists. 

CQL is an organization that is focused on improving the lives of people with intellectual, developmental, and psychiatric disabilities, by providing accreditations and training to human service organizations. Its Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation ensures that organizations meet the highest standards in service, quality, and impact. Through strict eligibility criteria, rigorous outcome-based expectations, the application of CQL Certification, and robust data collection and analysis, CQL evaluates and accredits organizations committed to excellence. We are proud to share that this recognition is achieved by only about 2% of the 500 organizations in our sector, making it a significant honor.
