FEEDING PROBLEMS AND CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD)
DESCRIPTION: Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are at increased risk for developing significant feeding difficulties, which may result in social and health-related challenges. This workshop will address common eating challenges among children and adolescents with ASD, behavioral intervention, and recommendations for when to seek professional guidance.

PRESENTED BY REBECCA SHALEV
Rebecca Shalev, PhD, BCBA, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Child Study Center at NYU Langone Medical Center. She specializes in assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. Dr. Shalev has advanced training in applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavior therapy, and parent training.
