Summer is the perfect time to unwind, travel, and create unforgettable memories – and several of our people supported did just that. From cruises to road trips to birthday celebrations, they took the opportunity to travel and explore new places. These trips were made possible by not only their creative ideas, but also thanks to the incredible help of our ADAPT staff.

Starting off the summer Pedro, a die-hard Elvis fan, and his roommate Victor, from the Castleton IRA traveled to Memphis, Tennessee, where they toured Graceland, Elvis Presley’s iconic home. There they visited the considered birthplace of Rock and Roll, ‘Beale Street.’

Family and friends gathered to celebrate Gerald’s 50th birthday with a joyful party filled with music and laughter.

People supported from Forsyth enjoyed a wonderful tea party around Manhattan aboard a Tea Around Town bus.

Chrissy and William enjoyed a magical vacation to Disney World in Orlando, where they explored the theme park and immersed themselves in enchantment.

Ann Marie Thomas of Brooklyn IRA enjoyed a week-long cruise to Bermuda aboard MSC cruises. She explored the island on a wheelchair accessible bus tour, shopped at the local craft market, and enjoyed the nightly parties on board.
Thank you to our incredible ADAPT staff, whose care not only helped in creating these unforgettable experiences, but also ensured that every journey was inclusive, accessible, and filled with fun.
