Support ADAPT Community Network This Holiday Season – Meet Kaylee!

Follow us

Each year, ADAPT Community Network supports thousands of children and families with disabilities. We have grown to be the largest provider of early childhood education in New York City. With over 1,200 children with and without disabilities in 13 preschools throughout the city, we continue to make a difference and change lives every day.

We would like to introduce you to Kaylee, as determined a young lady as you will ever see. When she came to one of our Bronx preschools last year, Kaylee could neither walk nor communicate with others. She spent her days sitting, limiting her ability get around and to do thing with her classmates. With incredible support and training from our dedicated, expert teachers and therapists, Kaylee is now walking with an assistive device and her smile lights up every place she goes! Kaylee still has some communication challenges, but is alert and engages with those around her.

Kaylee’s story was featured on the WPIX Changemakers series, hosted by Tamsen Fadal. Click here to learn about Kaylee’s incredible story. As you can see from the segment, we are so proud of Kaylee and her progress and all our dedicated staff who work tirelessly with her and her family.

With the holiday season fast approaching, we are gearing up for our annual Santa Project Holiday Fund. Our goal is to provide each of the families in our preschools with a gift card. For some, it’s a nice thank you for trusting us with their child. For others, it makes an enormous difference in the gift they can afford for their loved one.

In lieu of a party this year, we are thrilled that PILOT RB and COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL, two of our long time corporate supporters, have partnered to match the first $20,000 raised. This is an incredible opportunity to double your impact with ADAPT.

We continue to change lives, and we continue to need your help! Kaylee is counting on you. Please take moment to help us to help our kids. THANK YOU!!
