A few weeks ago, the Recreation Department hosted a Family and Friends Thanksgiving for some of its participants. The Saturday Recreation group gathered together on November 18th and had a wonderful afternoon to kick-off the holiday season.
The luncheon was catered by NY EVENTS, who supplied a variety of foods including salads, pastas, fresh fruits, ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, yams, and corn. To add to the feast, there was a plethora of cakes, brownies, pastries, and ice cream.
Both participants and their families truly enjoyed the wonderful experience. Thanks to Alicia Angevine, Director of Recreation, for helping to coordinate such a special event.
