ADAPT Community Network held its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament on May 13, 2024 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, NY. We are proud to announce that we raised over $150,000 to support the programs and services we provide to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A special thank you goes to our hosts Steve Lacy, Anchor of FOX 5 News at 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., and Teresa Priolo, Emmy-winning FOX 5 News Reporter and Fill-In Anchor, along with our dedicated Golf Committee members: Edward R. Matthews, Michael Berger, Valentino Galella, Jeffrey Weiss, Alan Zack, and Matthew Becker.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, our presenters, and our attendees the event was a massive success. The tournament was sold out and attended by over 125 participants. The money raised from ticket, raffle, and auction sales help us deliver programs and services to over 20,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families throughout the New York area.
This year we honored Patrick Yu, CPA, Partner and New York Metro Market Leader, Baker Tilly US, LLP in a special presentation by Steve Lacy and Teresa Priolo. Yu was honored for his many contributions to and longtime support of ADAPT Community Network and the intellectual and developmental disability community.
